Dr Ivana Rizzuto

Advanced keyhole surgery (level 5) for gynecological disorders (endometriosis, fibroids, subfertility, prolapse, PCOS and heavy and painful periods), menopausal problems, vulval disorders, colposcopy, prophylactic surgery for ovarian cancer and early diagnosis of gynaecological cancer. 

Dr Rizzuto completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at University of Catania in Italy and her specialist qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology with Cambridge University in the United Kingdom (UK). 

She practiced for 15 years in the UK before moving to Australia.

Dr Rizzuto completed two years of fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology at Mater Hospital Brisbane and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

She is a fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in the UK and a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). 

She completed two advanced training skills modules with RCOG in Gynaecology Surgery (benign gynaecology and gynaecological oncology). 

She also completed a Diploma in Colposcopy with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
