Biography
Dr Jacob Adeniyi is an internationally-trained gynaecologist and obstetric surgeon with more than 30 years of experience, consulting and operating at Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg.
Following fellowship training in the United Kingdom, he worked as a specialist consultant in Trinidad and Tobago before relocating to New Zealand, and later Australia in 2019.
Dr Adeniyi provides comprehensive gynaecological and obstetric care, with a particular focus on evidence-based management of both routine and complex conditions. He is committed to timely communication, collaborative care, and achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Passionate about medical education, Dr Adeniyi has received an Excellence in Teaching Award and is recognised for his advanced surgical expertise, strong clinical judgement, and calm, patient-centred approach.
