Biography
Dr John Elphinstone is an otolaryngologist (head and neck surgeon) who specialises in head and neck surgery, rhinology, advanced snoring surgery, sleep apnoea surgery, sinus surgery and skin malignancy.
Graduating from The University of Queensland in 1993, he continued his surgical training at hospitals in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Rockhampton. He undertook his advanced surgical training in a number of major Queensland hospitals.
Having grown up in Bundaberg, Dr Elphinstone commenced his private practice, Bundaberg Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery, in 2003 where he provides a comprehensive ear, nose and throat surgery service. He also provides an elective paediatric public service through the Bundaberg Base Hospital.
