Dr Joseph Garcia Redmond is a neurosurgeon with advanced training in neuro-oncology, skull base surgery, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery. He provides world-class care with a focus on safe, effective, and compassionate treatment.

He trained in neurosurgery at major hospitals across Australia and New Zealand, before completing a fellowship in skull base and neuro-oncology at Toronto Western Hospital in Canada. He then undertook subspecialty training in Gamma Knife radiosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic in the United States, gaining expertise in minimally invasive treatment of brain tumours and vascular conditions.

Dr Garcia Redmond has extensive experience in managing pituitary tumours, meningiomas, vestibular schwannomas, and metastatic brain disease, as well as advanced procedures including awake brain surgery and functional mapping. He also provides spinal surgery for degenerative and tumour-related conditions.

Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in research and teaching, with a focus on advancing molecular understanding of brain tumours and integrating advanced imaging, navigation, and functional mapping into neurosurgical practice. His approach combines technical expertise with patient-centred care, while fostering innovation through research, multidisciplinary collaboration, and training the next generation of surgeons.
