Dr Joy Domingo-Bates is a highly-skilled physician with extensive experience in newborn care.  She is a practising private neonatologist. Her interests include neonatal critical care, neonatal resuscitation, antenatal counselling, as well as newborn and infant nutrition, growth, and development.

Dr Domingo-Bates’ passion is driven by the bonds she builds with the parents of her patients and the enjoyment she holds in keeping their babies healthy and well.

Dr Domingo-Bates completed her paediatric and neonatal training at the Mater Hospital and RBWH. In addition to paediatrics and neonatology, she has significant experience and passion for clinical education. She was highly involved with the RACP Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine training, Queensland neonatal education and training, Neonatal Resuscitation courses, as well as Mater NCCU simulation and education sessions.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
