Biography

Dr Julian Yaxley is an experienced nephrologist with subspecialty expertise in interventional nephrology at Mater Private Hospital Redland, and consulting through the Mater sessional suites in Cleveland.

He completed his internal medicine residency at Sunshine Coast University Hospital in 2018. Dr Yaxley then pursued advanced specialty training in nephrology, working at a number of centres across Queensland.   

Dr Yaxley undertook post-fellowship training in critical care medicine and interventional nephrology. He is one of few nephrologists in Australia skilled in dialysis access procedures.

Dr Yaxley is uniquely qualified to provide innovative, high-quality care for his patients, and looks forward to caring for patients in the Redland shire.

Dr Yaxley’s clinical interests include interventional nephrology and dialysis.
