Biography
Dr Kay Porche is a highly experienced Palliative Medicine Specialist based at Mater
Private Hospital Rockhampton.
She provides compassionate, personalised care to patients navigating life-limiting
illnesses with a focus on dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Dr Porche completed her medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Queensland and
was awarded a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
in 2007.
She then completed specialist training in Palliative Medicine in 2011 and has served
as a Staff Specialist in Palliative Medicine at both Rockhampton Hospital and
Townsville University Hospital.
Her clinical expertise includes advanced pain and symptom management, emotional
and psychosocial support, and collaborative care planning.
