Dr Kelly van den Haspel

Kelly enjoys working collaboratively with midwives and other health care specialists to provide woman-centred care. Special areas of obstetric interest include pre-pregnancy counselling, early pregnancy loss, pre-term birth prevention, management of obesity, diabetes and hypertension in pregnancy, vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC) and complex operative obstetrics.

Alongside her obstetric practice, Kelly has a keen interest in contraception, management of pelvic pain and heavy menstrual bleeding. She performs a wide range of gynaecological surgery including laparascopic hysterectomies, treatment of endometriosis and ovarian cysts, endometrial ablation, management of abnormal cervical screening and hysteroscopic surgery. Kelly also performs many office gynaecological procedures including intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) insertions and colposcopy.
