Dr Maneesha Bhullar is a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist with expertise in general and acute medicine. She combines private practice with her appointment at Gold Coast University Hospital. She has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease and nutritional gastroenterology and is experienced in managing all aspects of gastrointestinal care, including irritable bowel syndrome, iron deficiency anaemia, bowel cancer screening and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Dr Bhullar provides gastroscopy and colonoscopy services and is committed to delivering an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to optimising gastrointestinal health. Her focus on nutritional care supports patients in achieving the best possible outcomes in a supportive, closely supervised environment.

Dr Bhullar graduated with a medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2008. As a medical student, she was nominated for the Young Investigators Award by the Australian Gastroenterology Society.
