Dr Manish Kumar

Dr Manish Kumar is a cardiologist who originally undertook his basic medical training in India before relocating to the UK where he obtained his MRCP. After his UK training,  Dr Kumar then moved to Australia where he progressed from RMO to advanced trainee before obtaining his Fellowship qualifications. All of Dr Kumar’s Australian training was undertaken at  Sydney and Adelaide.

Dr Kumar moved to Mackay around 6 years ago and initially worked part time at Mater Private Hospital Mackay. He is now practicing full time at our hospital and is in the process of establishing a pacemaker service. Dr Kumar has special interest in general cardiology, cardiac arrythmia, heart failure and cardiac devices.
