Biography
Dr Matthew Burge trained as a medical oncologist at the Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton before undertaking a fellowship in the UK in gastrointestinal cancer. In 2006, he returned to the Royal Brisbane Hospital as a consultant.
Dr Burge has particular interest in gastrointestinal malignancies and has extensive experience in most solid tumour types. He is involved in a number of clinical trials at the Royal Brisbane Hospital across a range of malignancies.
