Dr Matthew Cheng is a highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon practising at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.

He is widely respected for his expertise in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, and known for delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. After earning his medical degree, Dr Cheng undertook specialist training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, mastering advanced techniques across a wide range of procedures. He later completed a PhD in breast tissue engineering, with research that has enhanced reconstructive techniques and been published in respected medical journals.

Dr Cheng further refined his expertise through post-fellowship training in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery in Sydney, a program endorsed by the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
