Dr Noor Al-Saffi

Dr Noor Al-Saffi is a highly experienced General Physician with a strong background in internal medicine, endocrinology and diabetes management. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1999, followed by fellowship training in internal medicine, which he completed in 2006. He obtained Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP UK) in 2012 and successfully completed the Specialty Certificate Examination in Endocrinology and Diabetes through the Royal College of Physicians UK in 2014.

Dr Al-Saffi has extensive clinical experience in general medicine, managing a broad range of complex medical conditions. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Adult Internal Medicine in 2018.

Dr Al-Saffi has worked with Queensland Health for several years, managing a high volume of acute medical presentations. He joined Gold Coast Health in 2021 as a General Medicine Specialist and currently practices at Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast where he accepts referrals for emergency admissions, inpatient consultations and peri-operative medical care.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Al-Saffi holds senior academic appointments as a Lecturer at The University of Queensland and Griffith University, contributing to the education and training of future healthcare professionals. Dr Al-Saffi is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and welcomes referrals for adult patients presenting with a broad range of medical conditions.
