Dr Owen Jenkins

General trauma, primary and revision lower limb arthroplasty, foot and ankle surgery

Dr Owen Jenkins is a Queensland trained Orthopaedic surgeon.

Dr Jenkins has sub-specialty interests in General Trauma, Primary and Revision joint replacement surgery of the Knee and Hip, lower limb Arthroscopy and Foot and Ankle surgery.  Further training in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty has been obtained via local fellowship.

Owen obtained his medical degree in the UK and worked for a few valuable years within the NHS.  He migrated to Australia and obtained FRACS whilst working throughout south-east Queensland.

Dr Jenkins regularly participates in Medical student and Junior Doctor education via his Public appointment at the Mater and is actively engaged in ongoing research projects.  He understands the importance of communication and is committed to patient satisfaction from the very first consult through to thorough post-operative care.

Dr Jenkins conducts private practice at the Mater Private Hospital Brisbane and Mater Private Hospital Springfield.
