Venous disease management, including deep venous reconstruction for limb swelling, skin changes, ulcers, Deep Vein Thrombosis, varicose veins and chronic pelvic venous congestion.
Biography
Dr Patrik Tosenovsky is a highly experienced vascular and endovascular surgeon consulting and operating at Mater Private Hospital Townsville.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Palacký University in the Czech Republic in 1993, followed by a Vascular Surgery Fellowship in 2000 and a PhD awarded by the Czech Academy of Sciences in 2001.
In 2010, Dr Tosenovsky became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery.
Dr Tosenovsky worked in Townsville until 2013 before taking senior roles in Perth, including Head of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Royal Perth Hospital. From 2022 to 2024, he held international appointments where he established new endovascular services and advanced venous and minimally invasive techniques.
He returned to Townsville in November 2025 and now provides private consultations at Mater Private Hospital Townsville, as well as holding a public appointment at Townsville University Hospital.
Dr Tosenovsky offers expertise across the full spectrum of vascular surgery, providing contemporary, minimally invasive treatment options tailored for each patient.
