Biography
Dr Peter Yuide is a specialist general and laparoscopic surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive and colorectal surgery.
Born and raised in Toowoomba, Dr Yuide now calls the Redlands Coast home. He provides expert surgical care to his local community, consulting at Cleveland and operating at Mater Private Hospital Redland and Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
A committed healthcare leader, Dr Yuide has served as the long-standing Chair of the Redlands Medical Advisory Committee, helping to shape and strengthen clinical services in the region.
He trained extensively across Queensland, earning the prestigious Neville Davis Prize during his surgical training. Now in his twentieth year with Queensland Health, Dr Yuide holds a public appointment as Senior Staff Specialist in tertiary general and colorectal surgery at The Prince Charles Hospital.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Yuide serves as a specialist reservist with the Royal Australian Air Force and holds senior teaching and supervisory roles with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and The University of Queensland.
