Colorectal and breast cancer

After completing her MBBS degree at University of Queensland 1991, Dr Poh See Choo entered the rapidly changing and challenging world of medical oncology.

She spent three years training at Mater Hospital Brisbane and Royal Brisbane Hospital, where multidisciplinary clinics across gynaecologic oncology, head neck, breast and GI clinics were conducted with teams of surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists.

Dr Choo has also worked in the Haematology and bone marrow transplant unit at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

After six years of working as a VMO at Mater and in part time private practice she now works as a private medical oncologist at Mater Cancer Care Centre.

She manages all tumour types and has a special interest in colorectal and breast cancer. She feels privileged to be able to help with the management and treatment of her patients.

Dr Choo works in private practice at Mater Cancer Care Centre in South Brisbane.
