Dr Pradeep Subramanian

A wide range of general surgical care including but not limited to, all abdominal wall hernia repair, colonoscopy including polypectomies, gall bladder and appendix surgery, laparotomies, skin cancers including flap reconstructions, colectomies for colon cancer, diverticulitis, and all general surgeries including management of pilonidal sinus, and haemorrhoids. 

Dr Pradeep Subramanian is general surgeon consulting and operating at Mater Private Springfield, with a subspecialty interest in the management of hernia and abdominal wall reconstruction. 

Dr Subramanian become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016 and worked as a general surgeon consultant for nine years in the Darling Downs Region (Southwest Queensland) in both the public and private hospital sectors.   

He is currently employed at Metro South Hospitals in Brisbane. 

Dr Subramanian is credentialled with the Gastrointestinal Society of Australia (GESA) as a surgical endoscopist for the last nine years and regularly performs endoscopy, colonoscopy including polypectomies. 

He is a founding member of ANZ Hernia and is currently involved in improving hernia outcomes in Metro South Hospitals.  

Dr Subramanian is a passionate general surgeon providing holistic patient care involving in a multidisciplinary team-based approach and follows evidence-based management for his patients.
