Dr Pranali Patel

Dr Pranali Patel, a passionate and dedicated obstetrician, completed her specialist training in South East Queensland after completing her medical degree in New Zealand. As well as her work with Hatch, she is currently employed as a staff specialist at the Mater Mothers Hospital, and as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. As a mother of two, Dr Patel understands the journey to motherhood and is committed to offering tailored and collaborative care that respects your unique pregnancy experience while upholding evidence-based and safe practices.

Her position in the Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Queensland showcases her dedication to medical education and fostering the development of a diverse, inclusive and highly skilled young medical workforce. Dr Patel's primary focus is to empower you with information, allowing you to make the best choices for you and your baby, while working closely with the midwives and allied health team to bring you a holistic pregnancy journey.

When not at the hospital, you will find her at the beach with her kids, walking her dogs, or engrossed in her latest craft obsession.
