Dr Rohan Lourie

Gynaecological, paediatric and gastroenterology pathology

Dr Rohan Lourie trained in anatomical pathology at a number of major Melbourne teaching hospitals, including St Vincent's and Monash Medical Centre. He attained his fellowship in anatomical pathology in 2003.

Dr Lourie has worked at Mater Pathology for over 10 years. He is currently involved in Gynaecological Cancer research through Mater and Mater Research.

Areas of special interest are gastro-intestinal and gynaecological pathology—particularly gynaecological oncology and perinatal pathology, including post mortem examinations.

Since joining Mater Pathology in 2005, he has been responsible for the perinatal post-mortem program at Mater and has further developed his interest in placental pathology.
