Dr Russell Richard

Dr Russell Richard graduated from University of Queensland in 1976.  He worked initially in general practice, and in specialist palliative care since 2006.

He had advanced training at Prince Charles Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital  and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane and received FAChPM (RACP) in 2011.

He has interest and experience in community palliative and supportive care and works, with the Mater Multidisciplinary team structure, to achieve this in conjunction with patients and carers preference and capacity.  He also actively supports research into a variety of palliative medicine fields to optimise treatment for patients.
