Dr Shruti Rateesh is a cardiac imaging and clinical cardiologist. 

Dr Rateesh holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Bond University on the Gold Coast and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from University of Sydney. 

She completed her advanced training in cardiology at Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane and at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney where she also completed her advanced cardiac imaging fellowship. 

Throughout her training, Dr Rateesh actively participated in research and mentored and taught medical students and junior doctors as a conjoint associate lecturer for both The University of Queensland and University of New South Wales. 

Her interest in cardiac imaging supports her work in the evaluation and treatment of coronary artery disease and chest pain syndromes, heart failure and cardiomyopathies, valvular dysfunction, and the general management of arrhythmias.
