A/Prof Simon Bowler

Assoc Prof Bowler is a Respiratory and Sleep physician at Mater where he is in private and public practice.

He trained in Brisbane and the Brompton and has been on the Executive of the TSANZ as well as Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee of Asthma Australia and on the Board of that organisation.

He founded the Lung Cancer MDT at Mater and was Director of Medicine at Mater for 18 years.

He founded Queensland Sleep and is the managing partner.

He was a co-founder of the Mater Respiratory Research Group and has interests in asthma, CF, bronchiectasis and sleep. He is active with the Medical School of the University of Queensland.
