Dr Suzanne Ma is a general surgeon with advanced training in bariatric, upper gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery, gained through leading specialist centres across Queensland, New South Wales and internationally in Belgium.

Dr Ma completed fellowship training in bariatric surgery with a particular focus on revisional and complex weight loss procedures. She has been invited to present at national and international conferences on her areas of clinical interest, including reflux disease and revisional bariatric surgery.

Committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care through a holistic multidisciplinary approach, Dr Ma works closely with dietitians, psychologists and other healthcare professionals to support patients throughout their treatment journey and optimise outcomes.

Dr Ma recognises the sensitive and personal nature of weight management and bariatric surgery. With a compassionate approach and strong focus on communication, she works closely with patients to develop trusting relationships and provide personalised care.
