Biography
Before specialising in Gastroenterology, Dr Masood was a resident medical officer at the Royal Hobart Hospital and then completed his training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
His main area of expertise is the management of complex and chronic diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease and chronic liver disease. Dr Masood has considerable experience in conducting procedural work, as well as dealing with a broad spectrum of advanced cases in gastroenterology and herpetology, which includes treating Hepatitis C. He has a special interest in Hepatology.
Dr Masood consults weekly at the medical suites at Mater Private Hospital Redland where he performs gastroscopies and colonoscopies.
