Biography
Dr Tim Pont studied medicine at the University of Queensland, and then completed most of his paediatric training on the Gold Coast, with time also spent in Perth, Sydney, the Sunshine Coast and northern New South Wales. In addition to training in general paediatrics, he completed training in adolescent and young adult medicine through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. This included spending a year working in mental health to gain experience in this important area.
Dr Tim enjoys working with families and young people on a wide range of health problems and challenges, from newborns through to adolescence.
Dr Tim also has an interest in international health and has worked in Pakistan, Liberia and Afghanistan.
