Dr Vanessa Lusink

Dr Vanessa Lusink is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery, pelvic floor surgery and fertility. She trained at Royal Price Alfred Hospital in Sydney, prior to moving to Townsville to complete a two-year fellowship in advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgery and is now enjoying settling into life in North QLD. 

Vanessa has a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery due to its improvements in quality of life and quicker recovery. She is proficient in managing complex surgical conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse and uterine anomalies.  Vanessa is also an experienced colposcopist and has a special interest in fertility medicine, with training in surgical methods to enhance fertility. Vanessa particularly enjoys being able to provide gynaecology care to women at different stages in their lives.

Vanessa works publicly at the Townsville University Hospital, and privately at Mater and Townsville Day Surgery.
