Biography
Dr Tjioe offers comprehensive care across all stages of life, from adolescence through to menopause and beyond, with a focus on helping each person feel informed, supported, and empowered in their health choices.
After completing her medical degree at the University of Western Australia, Dr Tjioe undertook specialist training to obtain a fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Redlands Hospital, Mackay Base Hospital and Mater Mothers' Hospital. Her broad experience has shaped her philosophy of providing high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the individual needs of each person.
Dr Tjioe delivers exclusively at the Mater Mothers’ Hospital and has a special interest in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. She provides care for high and low risk pregnancies, and for a range of gynaecological concerns including but not limited to menstrual disorders, endometriosis, pelvic pain and colposcopy. Her practice combines clinical excellence with a warm, approachable style that places comfort and communication at the heart of every consultation.
Fluent in English and Chinese, Dr Tjioe values thoughtful, empathetic communication and is committed to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive care for patients from all walks of life.
