Biography
Dr Mya Mya Yee is a senior general physician providing comprehensive medical care across a wide range of internal medicine conditions for patients at Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton.
Dr Yee has subspecialty expertise in perioperative medicine, with her clinical interests including the management of chronic and metabolic diseases such as diabetes and hypercholesterolemia.
She graduated from the University of Medicine 1 in Myanmar and completed postgraduate training in the United Kingdom. Dr Yee achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2000 and Fellowship in 2007, before completing her Australian peer review in 2011.
