Prof Phillip Good

Palliative care; research on clinical therapeutics in palliative care; qualitative research on patient and carer experience, and the experience of CALD communities in palliative care

Professor Phillip Good is a Palliative Medicine Specialist working at Mater Cancer Care Centre. He also has an appointment as a Professor at Mater Research.

Having previously trained in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria he spent seven years working in Newcastle before returning to Brisbane.

Prof Good completed a PhD from the University of Newcastle with a thesis on evidence-base palliative care. As well as an active clinical practice he is involved in research on clinical therapeutics in palliative care, qualitative research on patient and carer experience, and the experience of CALD communities in palliative care.
