Coronary angiography and angioplasty, echocardiography, management of chest pain and dyspnea, heart failure PFO closure (for stroke and migraine), atrial fibrillation, risk factor modification management of hypertension and dyslipidaemia and cardiovascular risk mitigation in diabetes. 

Biography

Professor Rohan Jayasinghe is a cardiologist and academic leader with expertise in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular research. With more than two decades of clinical experience, Prof Jayasinghe specialises in complex coronary interventions, cardiovascular disease prevention and the management of heart disease. He is committed to advancing patient care through innovative therapies and contributing to the education and mentorship of future cardiologists.

Prof Jayasinghe holds appointments at Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast, Allamanda Hospital, Pindara Hospital and John Flynn Hospital. He graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney School of Medicine and completed his specialist training at major teaching hospitals across Sydney and Newcastle. He subsequently undertook advanced interventional cardiology training at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and completed a PhD in cardiovascular research at the University of New South Wales.

Prof Jayasinghe has a strong academic and research interest in cardiology with extensive publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. He is regularly invited to present his research and expertise at national and international scientific meetings.
