Prof Simon Denny

Prof Denny is a Paediatrician and Adolescent and Young Adult Physician, previously working at the Centre for Youth Health in South Auckland and the University of Auckland. He was also the Principal Investigator of Youth’07 which was New Zealand’s second National Youth Health and Wellbeing survey.

Widely published internationally in the field of adolescent  health and wellbeing, Prof Denny is a past Chair of both the Adolescent Health Research Group and Society of Youth Health Professionals Aotearoa New Zealand.

Prof Denny has worked with adolescents and young adults for over 15 years and has expertise in wide range of health conditions affecting adolescents and young adults, including chronic pain, gender and identity issues, drug and alcohol and mental health concerns.
