Biography
Dr Danny Tucker is a highly experienced and compassionate specialist who works across the breadth of gynaecology — menstrual problems, diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome and other hormonal issues, including recurrent miscarriage and the menopause.
Originally from Adelaide, Dr Tucker completed medical training at King’s College, London then trained as a specialist and was employed at University of Oxford.
He moved to Queensland in 2008, was Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Townsville University Hospital for five years and Director of Training for another five.
Dr Tucker is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at James Cook University and works in both private and public practice.
Dr Tucker offers consultations for gynaecology problems and undertakes gynaecology surgery at Mater Private Hospital Townsville.
