Biography

Dr Jefferson Webster is a consultant neurosurgeon who consults at Greenslopes, Cleveland, Beenleigh, Ipswich and Toowoomba and undertakes surgery at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.

Dr Webster was trained in Brisbane, Melbourne and Townsville obtaining FRACS in 2006.

He completed a post graduate fellowship training at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane and University of Pittsburgh Minimally Invasive endoNeurosurgery Center, Pittsburgh USA.

Dr Webster has a special interest in minimally invasive and minimal access surgery for the brain, skull base and spine. He has undertaken post fellowship subspecialty training in skull base and spine surgery using endoscopic techniques and minimally invasive strategies to access skull base and pituitary tumours, cranial nerve disorders, complex spine and vascular pathologies. Various technologies including stereotactic navigation, intra-operative imaging and nerve integrity monitoring are used to assist the surgery.
