On call group informationDr Buchanan has 24 hour on call cover through Eve Health for all pregnant women under her care during the week, and on weekends via a rotational weekend roster. If she is unavailable, the on call doctor who will continue your care will have access to your clinical records and an understanding of your plans for birth. For Dr Julie Buchanan, caring for a family throughout their pregnancy is a privilege, and that is why she values communication and good quality care for all of her patients. She believes in being accessible to her patients, and in empowering women and their families throughout the pregnancy journey and their delivery.
Offering her obstetric services - from pre-conception advice through to pregnancy and delivery - through Eve Health, Dr Buchanan is passionate about women’s health and wellbeing. She believes Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane mirrors her passion by offering a woman-focused approach to pregnancy, delivery and postpartum care, as well as access to world-class medical facilities from the moment of conception.
As a mother to three young children herself, Dr Buchanan remembers the pregnancy journey and how important it was to her feel supported, and that is why it is important to her to build a relationship with her patients and ensure she is by their side throughout their journey.
