Nutrition and dietetics

Our dietitians apply evidence-based research to help you understand the importance between food and good health. Our team will work with you to create a personalised nutrition plan to help improve health and wellbeing.

Our dietitians have created strong links with our community of health professionals to ensure continuity of care between hospital, GPs and the home, including:

  • meal planning and education for weight loss or weight gain
  • dietary management of a wide range of health problems or disabilities (i.e. when improving your ability to eat well when otherwise affected)
  • nutritional strategies for strengthening muscles and bones
  • management of various gastrointestinal illnesses, including food intolerances or allergies
  • dietary management of heart disease, high cholesterol, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
  • tube feeding advice and management, including access to various discounts or subsidies for nutrition-related products
  • group education workshops.
