Originally from Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, Ms Cassidy began her career as a Registered Nurse, driven by a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Her career has since spanned clinical, operational, and senior leadership roles, underpinned by a passion for building high-performing teams and fostering positive workplace cultures.
Ms Cassidy joined Mater in June 2025 as General Manager for Rockhampton, bringing with her extensive experience in health service leadership. Most recently, she was General Manager at Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, following senior roles including Service Delivery Director at Queensland Health and Clinical Program Delivery Manager at SA Health.
