Mater Hill is the location of Mater South Brisbane’s campus. It is home to hospitals, specialist medical clinics and ancillary services, a nationally accredited education and training facility and a world-class medical research institute.
In response to changing health needs of the community, Mater has developed a Master Plan as staged development approach to create a world-leading integrated health, education and research precinct. The plan is in the early planning stages and will continue to be reshaped by the needs of the people we serve in the community, and in consultation with Mater partners and people.
Healthcare across the world is changing and Mater is on a Mission to revolutionise the way our community experiences good health and wellbeing.
The Mater Hill Master Plan has been devised to align with Mater’s overall strategic plan and sustain Mater’s Mission into the future.
The plan is a part of Mater’s wider commitment to the changing health and wellbeing needs of the community and our response to the emerging role of hospitals and healthcare services, including innovations in interventional healthcare and expanding our role outside the boundaries of the hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for Mater. Our community will benefit from a more streamlined, sustainable and efficient Mater Hill, South Brisbane Campus, providing integrated world-class health, education and research innovations.
Mater has developed the Mater Hill Master Plan in collaboration with Urbis town planners and Conrad Gargett architects and in consultation with Mater Group’s professional clinical health, research, education and administrative people.
The plan is in the early planning stages and will continue to be reshaped by the needs of the people we serve in the community, and in consultation with Mater partners and people.
