Dr Neisha D’Silva

Diabetes; thyroid disease; osteoporosis; calcium and metabolic disorders

Dr D’Silva is a part time Staff Specialist in Endocrinology and Obstetric Medicine at the Mater Hospital Brisbane and Mater Mothers’ Hospital.  She completed undergraduate medical studies at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 1999 and commenced her postgraduate training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2001. Moving to Queensland in 2004 Neisha commenced her endocrinology training at the Princess Alexandra, Greenslopes and Royal Brisbane Hospitals.

Neisha’s final year of training was in Chemical Pathology at the Royal Brisbane Hospital where she was further able to gain experience working in her specialty field.

Dr D’Silva’s special interests are in thyroid disease and osteoporosis.
