Dr Gert Tollesson is an adult and paediatric neurosurgeon at Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton. He specialises in micro neurosurgery, including brain tumours, surgery for aneurysm and arteriovenous malformations, pituitary tumours, trigeminal neuralgia, hemi facialspasm and paediatric neurosurgical disorders, hydrocephalus and neuroendoscopic surgery.
Dr Tollesson also specialises in basic and complex spinal surgery. His clinical interests in this field include microsurgery, trauma and spinal surgery for cervical, thoracic and lumbar disorders.
