Our Conference Centre can be found off Fulham Road, opposite the Mater Emergency Department. 

With audiovisual capabilities, a courtyard, and a kitchen space, the area can comfortably cater up to 100 people standing, 80 people seated auditorium style, or 60 people seated around tables.

Slade Pharmacy is a dynamic, values-driven organisation providing quality medicine and health management services to the Mater Private Hospital Townsville.

Slade Pharmacy provides a full prescription service, and their highly qualified Pharmacists will process your prescriptions while you wait. They also offer a wide range of over-the-counter medicines and advice for the whole family.

You can find the Chapel near the Park Street entrance of Mater Private Hospital Townsville, offering a quiet space for personal reflection at any time.

Additionally, Mater's Pastoral Care Practitioners are available to provide emotional and spiritual support by asking a nurse, calling (07) 4727 4105 or visiting the pastoral care office located near the chapel.

Patients, visitors and staff are welcome to join:

- Mass - Tuesdays from 10am

- Morning prayer – Monday – Friday, excluding Tuesday, from 8.30am

- Mercy prayers – Monday – Friday from 3pm

Mater Private Hospital Townsville is proud to offer allied health and rehabilitation services to both inpatients and outpatients. 

The allied health gym, accessed via the boom gate at the corner or Fulham Road and Park Street, features our full range of allied health services including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech pathologists, and more. 

Many of Mater's specialists consult on site in Medical Centres located at both our Pimlico and Hyde Park campuses. 

Mater Private Hospital Townsville has on-site accommodation available for family and visitors. These units are located directly opposite the Pimlico Campus on Fulham Road.

Our units offer the relatives of out-of-town patients a convenient place to stay while family members are in Hospital. These units are only available to patients and / or relatives of patients admitted into the Mater Private Hospital Townsville.

Limited parking is available at the units. There are 14 basic motel style units, and one larger family unit with two single beds and a double bed. A Taxi Tank is located opposite the units.

Subject to availability, the Mater Courtesy Vehicle may be available weekdays from 10:00am until 2:00pm to transport families to local destinations.

For your convenience, we provide a common room with a fridge, microwave, toaster and electric frypan for basic food preparation. Due to fire safety regulations, cooking facilities are not available within the units.

The Yellow Rose Cafe is located at the Pimlico Campus, facing onto the Hospital's quadrangle. 

The Cafe is open seven days a week, offering a range of snacks, meals and hot and cold beverages for patients, visitors and staff.

The cafe is open from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Fridays; and 8:00am to 2:00pm on weekends. It is closed on public holidays.

We currently accept eftpos and cash payments.
