Loretta joined Mater on 1 September 2020 for a period of six months in the role of Chief Finance Officer.
She has more than 30 years’ experience as a finance professional and more than 18 years with a specific focus in healthcare sectors in Australia, United Kingdom and the Middle East. She has worked across public and private tertiary, academic and research health organisations as an executive, a health planner and consultant.
Most recently Loretta was CFO at Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and has held previous appointments at Queensland Children’s Hospital and at Mater.
Loretta has led teams in finance and performance, health services planning, strategy and risk management and her skills are a strong fit for Mater at this important time, particularly given her deep understanding of healthcare
