Mater Mothers’ Hospitals are renowned for providing high quality maternity and newborn services by providing exceptional care and support for women and their families in Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Mater has some of the country’s leading obstetricians who have access to the latest technology including Mater Centre for Maternal Fetal Medicine for high-risk pregnancies and a Neonatal Critical Care Unit for sick and premature babies.
Mater Mothers’ services assist women and their families before, during and after the birth of their baby. Programs available include pregnancy assessments, antenatal education, fertility and birthing services.
Mater provides women with a range of evidence-based information to enable them to participate wholly in their pregnancy journey.
