Dr Lisa Harris is an experienced obstetrician who brings warmth, energy and a geniune passion for women's health to each and every appointment. Her aim is to provide the best possible care for her patients by offering independent specialist obstetric care, with the back-up of an experienced on-call team. Her practice is based upon using the best available evidence to guide decisions around patient care, and communication with her patients is key to this. 

As a mum to three young children, Dr Harris believes her own experiences of pregnancy, birth and parenthood have taught her a lot about being an obstetrician. And with personal experience of delivering her babies at Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane, Dr Harris chooses to deliver her patients here because of the 24/7 access to the highest quality care.

In whatever spare time she can find, Dr Harris runs half marathons, enjoys reading a good book, and loves to enjoy good food and good coffee with her family and friends.
