Dr Trent Lincoln is an internationally trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery offering a scope of surgical procedures at Mater Private Rockhampton.

Graduating from Medicine with honours at Monash University in 2006, Dr Trent Lincoln returned to his home state of Queensland to complete his resident training years at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.  He identified during this training period treating patients with facial injuries that Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery would be his chosen field.

Spending a year working as a registrar in ear, nose and throat as well as general surgery in Rockhampton allowed Dr Lincoln to further enhance his surgical experience providing him the opportunity to gain a position in the highly sought-after, lateral entry, into the Dentistry program at The University of Queensland.

The program allowed Dr Lincoln to work within the Oral and Maxillofacial units in several major Brisbane hospitals whilst studying dentistry.

He was then accepted into the Queensland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training program. During this time, he advanced his surgical skills by training in several larger metropolitan hospitals throughout Queensland.

A year of training spent in Townsville provided exposure to rarer and later presentations of Maxillofacial disease and injuries. Dr Lincoln then undertook further training in Zygomatic Implants in Hong Kong, 2017.

Dr Lincoln is an internationally published author and researcher in the fields of piezoelectric third molar removal, use of local anaesthetic in removal of teeth, paediatric orbital fractures and return to contact sports following cheek bone fractures amongst other topics.

Born and raised west of Rockhampton, Dr Lincoln has returned to his home region to offer specialised oral and maxillofacial surgical care to the local community.
