Founded in 1998, Mater Children’s Private Brisbane was Australia’s first dedicated private paediatric hospital. Since then, we’ve been providing innovative healthcare and emotional support to children and their families throughout South East Queensland and beyond.
We know it can be worrying and overwhelming when your child experiences health issues. Our South Brisbane location includes an inpatient ward, surgical and medical day units and Queensland's only dedicated paediatric sleep unit. Through our team of exceptional support staff and outstanding paediatric specialists, we provide short-stay and daysurgical and medical care for privately-insured and self-funded families with children from birth to 16 years of age.
