Biography
Dr Julian Mellick specialises in General Paediatric Medicine and has been working with Mater Health Services since graduating from the University of Queensland in 1979.
Dr Mellick undertook extensive training in Paediatrics at the former Mater Children’s Hospital and Mater Mothers’ Hospital, then moved to the United Kingdom to continue his advanced training at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge.
In 1991 Dr Mellick established his private practice and is a Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at the University of Queensland.
He works extensively with newborn and premature infants as well as older children and consults on a full range of paediatric conditions.
