Mater Private Hospital Springfield's pop-up COVID-19 Testing Clinic (Fever Clinic) will be closing at 4 pm tomorrow (Friday 7 August).
The 'walk in only' clinic will be open from 8 am to 4 pm and is located in the main hospital car park off Healthcare Drive. The clinic will test all people, including children, who feel unwell with any of the following respiratory symptoms;
GP referrals are encouraged to reduce wait times. During peak periods there may be some waiting periods so please practice social distancing while you wait and as it is an outdoor clinic, please be sun safe. Street parking only available.

A new era in healthcare for Greater Springfield
Mater's newest facility, Mater Private Hospital Springfield, opened its doors to the people of Greater Springfield in 2015. With 80 private beds as well as a day surgery unit, the hospital provides the local community with access to innovative, world-class healthcare facilities including four digitally-integrated operating theatres and a state-of-the-art cancer care centre.
Operating out of our Springfield Central location, we offer a range of medical and surgical services for overnight and day patients, led by our exceptional team of medical specialists and support staff. Our focus is on providing patients with the best possible experience; from the quality of our care right through to the thoughtfully-designed rooms including access to a fold-away bed for every room, dietician-approved room service menus and contemporary facilities.

We encourage our patients to rest from 1.30 pm to 3.30pm
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients, all Mater hospitals have placed restrictions on visitors to minimise the exposure risk to COVID-19.
Up to two visitors can visit a patient in hospital at any one time, for any length of time, within visiting hours. There is no longer an age restriction in place, enabling children to now visit.
