There is a café located on the ground floor of Mater Private Hospital Redland catering to patients, visitors and staff. It provides a wide range of snacks, meals and hot and cold beverages.

Monday to Friday: 7 am to 4 pm
Weekends and public holidays: 9 am to 2 pm
Chapel
You can find the Chapel on the ground floor of Mater Private Hospital Redland, offering a quiet space for personal reflection at any time.
Additionally, Mater's Pastoral Care Practitioners are available to provide emotional and spiritual support on Tuesdays and Thursdays by calling extension #7436 from the beside phone.
Patients, visitors and staff are welcome to join mass held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 9am.
Electronic devices
Patients are encouraged to bring their own personal electronic devices to hospital, whether that’s a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
From any Wi-Fi enabled device, patients and their family can access a free Wi-Fi service while they are at hospital.
Healing Garden
Spending time in hospital can be very stressful for patients and their loved ones. Mater Private Hospital Redland offers a balcony healing garden where patients and their families can enjoy a chat or a break to enjoy the outdoors. Regularly cared for by hospital maintenance staff and proudly funded by Mater Foundation, the healing garden offers an on-site retreat.
Interpreter service
Effective communication between patients and staff is important. Interpreter services are available and can be organised by the nurse caring for you.
