Mater's package offer for Maintenance Services

Mater has tabled a three-year offer for the 2026 Maintenance Services Enterprise Agreement.

The proposed agreement outlines a three‑year term with wage increases and updates to allowances, supporting Mater's ongoing commitment to a strong, sustainable in-house maintenance and engineering service

Mater is now putting this offer to you for voting, however, it will only be applied if there is a majority ‘yes’ vote in the upcoming ballot. 
It’s important that every eligible employee has a voice and that means participating in the vote.

Mater's new agreement for Maintenance Services includes:

of 8% over three years, effective from [DATE]

to September 2025 reflected in your pay on [DATE]

Including on call, meal, laundry, wet work / work in rain, tool, and testing and tagging, along with the introduction of a Licensed Trades allowance.

Access period

Under the Fair Work Act 2009 (s180), this period is dedicated to ensuring all eligible employees covered by the proposed agreement have access to all relevant information ahead of the ballot.

Ballot

Voting on the Maintenance Services Enterprise Agreement will be conducted online or by phone from [DATE].

Mater has engaged CorpVote, an independent provider specialising in secure and confidential voting processes, to manage the ballot.

CorpVote will:
  • Email eligible staff to introduce the voting process and provide further information; and
  • Send an email and SMS when voting opens, including your Voter Access Code, which is required to cast your vote.
